Today we saw her oncologist at the University of New Mexico.  After ensuring that the Mayo clinic reports had been received by UNM, we said a prayer, and then went down to announce her decision.  Mom asked some good questions, got reiterations of what to expect, and chose her path.  An equally hard decision became when to start.  After weighing a few factors (when in the cycle she would feel healthy, when she could enjoy her granddaughters, where she would have to go to get the pump removed, etc.) she chose a Wednesday routine.  With the doctors persuasion, we decided to start on Friday and then shift the next cycle to Wednesdays thereafter.  Trusting the Lord's will for her, she stepped forward and accepted her journey with little reservation.
